EA Reveals Lifetime Xbox One and PS4 Sales

Via Ars Technica. Blake Jorgensen, EA’s CFO, revealed that total sales of next-generation console sales of topped 55 million units. This is interesting, because it gives us a precise look at Xbox One sales.

Sony reveals their sales numbers – 35.9 million PS4s sold so far. Microsoft does not. Subtract Sony’s 36 million from the 55 million total, we see Microsoft sold 19 million Xbox Ones. These are lifetime sales, from products that have been on the market for the past few years.

In comparison, Apple sold 75 million iPhones over the past 3 months.
