With the launch of Season 5 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the meta has shifted yet again. Some weapons received nerfs, others stayed untouched, and a few new contenders have entered the spotlight. Whether you're aiming for higher kill games, chasing nukes, or simply looking to dominate lobbies, having the right loadout can make all the difference.

Below, we break down the top five guns to use in Black Ops 7 right now, including detailed attachment setups, pros and cons, and how to get the most out of each build.

1. ABR1-The New Full-Auto Monster

The ABR1 is a brand-new weapon introduced in Season 5, and while its default burst-fire mode is underwhelming, one attachment changes everything: Rapid Fire. Once equipped, the ABR1 transforms from a mediocre burst rifle into a full-auto powerhouse.

Key Attachments:
Rapid Fire-Converts the ABR1 into full-auto, increases fire rate, and gives a small range buff (with negligible drawbacks).
Kepler Microplex Optic-Crisp and familiar sight picture; Volski is also a good alternative.
Compensator-Improves recoil control.
Vertical Foregrip-Eliminates vertical and horizontal recoil when combined with the compensator.
Long Barrel-Extends damage range to keep TTK competitive at mid to long range.
45-Round Magazine-Balances ammo capacity and handling speed.
Ergonomic Riser-Boosts slide-to-fire speed and snappiness.
Infiltrator Pad-Improves aim-walking speed for harder-to-hit strafes.

Why It Works:
With eight attachments, the ABR1 becomes laser-accurate, fast-firing, and mobile-perfect for aggressive mid-range play. If you prefer a stripped-down build, drop the infiltrator pad, ergonomic riser, and foregrip for a solid five-attachment setup.

2. LC10-The Unshakable SMG King

Despite many SMGs getting nerfed this season, the LC10 remains untouched, and that's a big deal. Already one of the best SMGs pre-update, it now dominates close to mid-range fights with unmatched consistency.

Key Attachments:
Long Barrel-Extends effective range, letting the LC10 compete with ARs.
Ranger Foregrip-Improves accuracy while adding a slight mobility boost.
45-Round Magazine-Keeps you in the fight without heavy handling penalties.
Ergonomic Grip-Faster slide-to-fire and ADS.
Infiltrator Stock-Dramatic improvement to strafe speed.

Why It Works:
The LC10 combines low recoil, high mobility, and surprisingly competitive range. In the right hands, it can shred enemies at ranges they'd never expect from an SMG. Strafing speed is a key strength here-you can literally dodge bullets in close duels.

3. XM4-The Timeless AR

The XM4 has been a staple since day one, and Season 5 proves that it still belongs at the top. Balanced, reliable, and versatile, it excels in almost any situation.

Key Attachments:
Kepler Microplex Optic-Clean and precise red dot.
Ported Muzzle-Reduces first-shot recoil, ensuring accurate opening bursts.
Long Barrel-Maxes out damage range for long-distance engagements.
Vertical Foregrip-Tightens horizontal recoil control.
Buffer Weight Stock-Makes recoil almost non-existent.
Recoil Springs-Smooths out recoil patterns even further.
45-Round Magazine-Good balance of ammo and mobility.
Quick Draw Grip-Offsets ADS penalties from heavy attachments.

Why It Works:
With the full eight-attachment build, the XM4 genuinely does not move when fired. Even with just five attachments, it remains extremely stable and forgiving-perfect for all skill levels.

4. SWAT 5.56 (Gro Conversion)

By equipping the Gro conversion kit, the SWAT 5.56 essentially becomes the classic Gro-a laser-straight, low-recoil rifle beloved by veterans.

Key Attachments:
Gro Conversion Kit-Adds movement speed, recoil control, and access to a 50-round mag.
50-Round Magazine-Large enough for multi-kill potential.
Monolithic Suppressor-Boosts bullet velocity and range while keeping you off the minimap.
Vertical Foregrip-Improves vertical and horizontal recoil control.
Quick Draw Grip-Counters ADS speed penalties from the suppressor.

Why It Works:
This setup feels identical to the OG Gro-minimal recoil, strong range, and great movement speed. It's incredibly forgiving and works for any playstyle, from passive anchoring to aggressive pushing.

5. C9-The Close-Range Warzone & Multiplayer Terror

Previously banned in ranked multiplayer, the C9 is back and immediately making waves. In Warzone, it has already become the go-to close-range weapon thanks to its raw TTK and mobility.

Multiplayer Build:
Compensator-Vertical recoil control.
Reinforced Barrel-Improves bullet velocity and damage range.
Ergonomic Grip-Faster slide-to-fire and ADS.
Infiltrator Stock-Exceptional strafe speed.
Ranger Foregrip-Added stability without killing mobility.Warzone Build:
Swap Ranger Foregrip and Compensator for:
Extended Mag I or II-Increases mag size for sustained fights.
Recoil Springs-Keeps recoil manageable.

Why It Works:
In multiplayer, strafing speed combined with low recoil makes you incredibly hard to hit. In Warzone, extended mags ensure you can wipe full squads without reloading.

Perks, Equipment, and Secondary Recommendations

A great primary weapon is only part of the equation. Here's the supporting cast that complements all five builds above.

Perk Recommendations:
Perk 1: Gung-Ho-Reload while sprinting; perfect for aggressive pushes.
Perk 2: Forward Intel (standard) or Hunter's Instinct (gunfighter builds)-Gain critical minimap intel or enemy tracking after kills.
Perk 3: Slipstream-Boosts sprint speed for faster rotations.
Wildcard: Perk Greed-Allows for extra perks, including Scavenger for ammo sustainability and tactical/lethal replenishment.

Lethals/Tacticals:
Stim Shot-Rapid health regeneration when weak.
Blast Traps-High lethality potential.
Scrambler-Acts as a personal counter-UAV.

Secondary-The Kova SMG:
Monolithic Suppressor-Range and bullet velocity.
Long Barrel-More range.
60-Round Magazine-Sustained fire in close combat.
Quick Draw Grip-Faster handling.
Recoil Springs-Enhanced control.

Think of the Kova as your " emergency SMG" -ideal for when your primary runs dry or you get caught in tight quarters.

Final Thoughts

Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has given us a diverse, well-rounded meta where several weapons are truly competitive. The ABR1 stands out as the newest powerhouse thanks to Rapid Fire, the LC10 remains the SMG king, and the XM4 continues to be a rock-solid all-rounder. The SWAT 5.56 with Gro conversion and the C9 offer unique playstyle advantages-one for laser accuracy, the other for overwhelming close-range dominance.

If you build these loadouts correctly and pair them with the right perks and equipment, you'll be well on your way to high-kill games, nukes, and MVP performances.

#2 Site Feedback » MMOexp-CFB 26 Rush Promo Review » Aug 18 11:00 PM

If you're diving into College Football 26 right now, you're probably trying to build the best team possible. Whether you're grinding solos, playing head-to-head, or tearing through the transfer portal.

New Rush LTD Charles Woodson

Let's talk Charles Woodson, the latest Rush LTD. He's a Michigan legend, and while not everyone's favorite, this card is undeniably cracked.
89 Speed
87 Zone
85 Man Coverage

There's also a standard LTD version with the exact same stats, except for one less speed (88). Honestly, unless you're obsessed with min-maxing, the 88-speed version is perfectly fine. You'll save a ton of coins too-not worth dropping a million+ for one extra speed point.

Alumni Cards Are Back: Peppers, Moon, Bennett & More
The Alumni program saw a big update too, and it brought some serious heat.

Julius Peppers
85 Speed
87 Acceleration
85 Power Move
85 Finesse
88 Block Shed

This guy is an absolute monster off the edge. If you get him, he's an auto-starter.

Warren Moon
There's a new event to get him:
Reach level 12 (30 wins)
Earn 87 OVR Warren Moon (BND)

Honestly, he's not all that impressive. If you've already got Vince Young, this might not be worth the grind.

Heads-up: You need 10 Alumni players to enter the Moon event, but they don't have to be starters. Just stash them as backups.

Jonathan Ogden
A 6'9 left tackle-basically a skyscraper at the edge of your line. He might just be the best LT in the game right now. Big, strong, reliable.

Cornelius Bennett
84 Speed
86 Acceleration
He's solid, but doesn't match Peppers in any metric. More of a rotational guy unless you're just starting out.

Packs Are Live-But Are They Worth It?

Let's talk packs.

Alumni Roll Price Increase
The Alumni rolls went from 2,600 to 4,500 training. That's an absolutely massive jump. So be warned-training is expensive now, and rolls might not feel as rewarding.

Rush Opportunity Packs
Hard pass. These "limited opportunity" packs offer:
10% chance at an 88
Usually return 80s or 81s
These aren't worth the coins, especially with better packs available.

Pack Luck Recap: Big Wins and Surprises

The pack luck today was insane, starting with an LTD pull out of training rolls. Two Rush LTDs landed back-to-back, including a Charles Woodson, which sold for 600K coins instantly.

Other Notable Pulls:
87 Cornelius Bennett (BND)-Solid for depth
88 Travis Hunter (BND)-Already owned him, but still a top-tier card
85 Ronnie Lott-Good quicksell value
86 Rabbit Evans, Gauge Keys, Zane Durant-Decent mid-tier pulls
85 Elijah Griffin, 84s and 83s-Great training fodder

Rush Goal Line & Coverage Packs: Are They Worth It?
These packs offer some potential if you're chasing LTDs or missing key players from the Rush promo.

Rush Goal Line BND Pack
One of three 83+
Two of four 80+
52% chance at an 87+

These gave out a lot of full cards today, including:
Jonathan Ogden
Brian Dawkins
Cornelius Bennett
Not bad value-but remember, BND limits your flexibility.

Rush Coverage Pack
1x 82+
2x 80+
2x 78+

One of these gave us Travis Hunter-but again, BND hurts resale value.
Quick Tip: If you're only looking for coins, avoid BND-heavy packs. Use your money on platinum packs or save for training to hit the rolls.

Are the Training Rolls Still Worth It?

Training rolls cost a brutal 4,500 training per roll, but they're still your best shot at getting an LTD without dropping a million coins.
Pulled Charles Woodson
Pulled Jonathan Ogden-sells for ~170K
Saw plenty of 87s & 88s
Training is expensive, but if you get lucky, you can print coins.

Final Verdict: What Should You Be Doing?
If you're playing College Football 26 right now, here's your best plan of attack:
1.Do your daily recruit packs-Always value here.
2.Hunt rush LTDs through training rolls-High risk, but massive reward.
3.Avoid bad value packs (especially BND opportunity packs).
4.Grind the Warren Moon event only if you don't already have Vince Young.
5.Invest in alumni players-Especially if you plan to enter the Moon event. Get backups!
6.Sell high right now-Some cards are inflated from the hype (Peppers, Woodson).Wrapping Up

This was one of the most exciting days in CFB 26 so far. Two Rush LTDs pulled. Major pack luck. But also some price hikes and value traps to watch out for. Be smart with your coins, don't go overboard on BND packs, and grind what's actually worth it.

Let me know in the comments:
What did you pull today?
Was your pack luck fire or a bust?
Are you running with Woodson, Peppers, or someone else?

#3 Site Feedback » MMOexp-Diablo 4 Twisting Blades Mastery Guide » Aug 18 10:58 PM

Welcome to the Twisting Blades season in Diablo 4, where Rogue mains can finally bask in the glory of their favorite skill rising to the top of the meta. Whether you're farming Uber bosses, speed-clearing nightmare dungeons, or dominating Astaroth for the thousandth time, this build doesn't just shine-it blazes through the battlefield like a storm of daggers.

While the Poison Imbuement version of the build is topping leaderboard charts for pure endgame pushing, this guide will focus on the Ass Wrath variant-a much faster, smoother build that excels in virtually every piece of content outside the Pit. But don't worry; if you're a die-hard pusher, the pit-optimized version will be included in the planner.

Let's break down the mechanics, gear, skills, and seasonal power interactions that make this build one of the most exciting and lethal in the game right now.

Why Twisting Blades?

Twisting Blades is a Rogue skill that not only deals devastating single-target damage but also hits multiple enemies on return. Compared to builds like Penetrating Shot, Twisting Blades deals more damage and attacks faster due to how its animation frames function-a technical but crucial difference that gives this build a significant DPS edge.

Azurewrath: The Heart of the Build

At the core of this setup is the legendary weapon Azurewrath, which deals Cold damage through Lucky Hit procs. While it's had a known bug for over a year that causes it to scale directly with attack speed, this quirk actually works in our favor. Not only does attack speed help us proc Lucky Hits more often, but it also directly increases our flat damage from Azurewrath. Stack as much of it as you can-via gear, elixirs, Paragon boards, and tempering.

Key Skills and Interactions

Here's what you'll be using to become the ultimate whirlwind of knives:

Dash
Used for speed and mobility, Dash also synergizes with Twisting Blades' ability to reset cooldowns. You'll be zipping around the map with ease. Add Shadow Step if you want even more burst movement.

Shadow Clone
Although bugged with Twisting Blades for pit pushing (it removes impales, significantly reducing boss damage), it works perfectly for farming and general content. It provides Unstoppable and contributes to your Lucky Hit procs. Swap it out for Death Trap if you're Pit pushing seriously.

Shadow Imbuement
Essential for both AoE and damage scaling. Grants huge non-physical damage boosts from the skill tree and even more Lucky Hit chances thanks to the Imbuement explosion mechanic.

Poison Trap
Grants a consistent Alchemical Advantage buff, improving all your elemental damage. It's especially useful if you're not tempering Poison directly onto your weapon.

Calrops
Used strictly for boss fights to get a huge 45% damage multiplier.

Gear Breakdown: What You Need and Why

Helm: Air of Pedition or Cowl of the Nameless
Both offer significant damage bonuses. If you can roll Greater Affix (GA) Lucky Hit on them, even better.

Chest: Shroud of False Death
An S-tier piece offering unparalleled value. If you don't have it, use a standard chest with a strong defensive aspect.

Gloves: Fists of Fate
This is non-negotiable. Look for GA Lucky Hit chance and masterwork it. Most of your Lucky Hit scaling originates here.

Pants & Boots
Your defense comes mainly from pants. Prioritize Shadow Imbuement skill ranks and damage reduction stats. Use Umbrous Aspect for up to 50% DR from Dark Shroud. Boots get the Slice and Dice aspect, which boosts cleave damage and Lucky Hits.

Weapons
Main Hand (Azurewrath): Look for GA Lucky Hit and high attack speed. Stack attack speed on gloves, rings, and via elixirs to cap out both attack speed buckets.
Off-Hand Dagger: Must have Lucky Hit to restore resources. This is mandatory-without it, you'll run dry mid-fight. Temper Lucky Hit to deal Poison or Cold damage here depending on whether you're using Poison Trap.

Crossbow or Bow?
Doesn't matter much. Whichever you choose, apply the Twisting Blades hits twice aspect and max its Masterwork rank. Use Conceited Aspect since you'll always have a barrier and socket Tam + Thu runes for Vulnerable and Freeze procs.

Amulet
Get Dexterity and passive ranks here. Aspect: Vehement Brawler for generic damage multipliers (needed for Azurewrath to scale effectively).

Rings
Starless Sky: Easily the best. Comes with everything-damage, Lucky Hit, and sometimes resource help.
Second Ring: Focus on attack speed and use Accelerating Aspect. Try to cap both attack speed buckets-use Myriad Stone gem if needed.

Seasonal Powers and Paragon Boards

Nimbus Power

It doesn't hugely matter-the multipliers are small. Use Cold Nimbus for more freezes or Shadow Nimbus for added DR.

Charms
Bloody Charm: Grants execute chance.
Gleaming Conduit: Boosts Bloody Charm's range and effect.
Fractured Core: Removes resistance auras from mobs.Skill Tree Overview

Basic
Use Twisting Blades, not Heartseeker. Heartseeker triggers Close Quarters Combat, but it's too clunky for this fast-paced build.

Agility
Dash, Shadow Step, Calrops
Pick Trick Attacks for crit chance and Unstable Elixir to keep damage buffs up by chugging potions.

Subterfuge
Poison Trap and Dark Shroud
Additional damage passives (get these on your Amulet)

Imbuements
Shadow Imbuement
Tons of Lucky Hit and multiplicative bonuses.

Ultimate
Shadow Clone or Death Trap
Lots of passive Lucky Hit and resource regen bonuses.

Key Passive
Victimize: Best overall damage boost.

Alternatives:
Momentum: More sustain and DR
Close Quarters Combat: For Pit pushing (requires Heartseeker)

Paragon Boards

You want speed and multiplicative damage vs. crowd-controlled enemies. Suggested path:
1.Head Hunter-Dex and damage
2.No Witness-Cap via Fluidity
3.Eldritch Bounty-Slot in Cannyph for big bonuses
4.Dance Macabre-Control node for CC damage
5.Exploit Weakness + Devious Glyph-Both offer additive and multiplicative bonuses

How to Play It

It's incredibly simple:
1.Dash into enemies-knocks them down and triggers Malice for more damage
2.Spam Twisting Blades, Shadow Imbuement, and Shadow Clone on cooldown
3.Use Poison Trap and Calrops on bosses or tougher elites
4.Keep Unstable Elixir active by drinking health potions regularly

Profit

On bosses, make sure both traps are always active to keep damage multipliers going. Otherwise, you're free to zip through mobs, cleaving entire rooms in seconds.

Final Thoughts

This Twisting Blades build isn't just strong-it's fast, smooth, and easy to play. With most of the complexity boiled down to gearing and build setup, it's incredibly accessible for both casual and hardcore players.
