Two updates so far but still no mifi fix, I'm wondering if they know it's broke

So it's now 1 year late, has air version been canceled?

Ok so the awsome game final fantasy 9 was released last nite, and it looks amazing, they did this port justice.  Now on to the bad, it does NOT offer mifi support, not right anyway, I don't even know how this is possible, I believe all FF after 3 offer support even the new mana game does.  The analog works but no buttons work. No way to do anything.  I'm hoping it gets patched soon.

Found a mini 4 64 gb at Best Buy for $150 off so picked one up, then checked apple for gamevice and they sold out for 3 more weeks lol damn.

Can you comment at all on design of air version, does iPad stick way out top and bottom similar to concept pictures from year ago?  I'm very tempted to go pick up a mini 3 and gamevice to relive playing all the FF games 😉

They said air would come before iPhone version, wonder what the major hold up is on air model

Kevin would it be possible once a week to make a list of new games that release that week for Apple TV, the way App Store is set up doesn't have new releases and if it's not features almost impossible to find

Wacky wheels looks like a good throw back kart game.  I'll keep eye out for it.  How is controls on angry bird go?  I'm going to give goblin sword a shot too!

Ok so I got tired of waiting for gamevice to release their almost 1 year late controler for air model, and decided to get the nimbus, love the controller very responsive and good quality.  Ok now on to games, I have tons of rpg that support mfi, now I'm looking for the best Mario kart and Mario knock off on iOS with mfi support.  I'm looking for a lot of options here.  I've tried a few Mario kart knock offs like buggy cart, both sonic kart games and sky landers none have good controls, you slip around the track and almost just rely on luck.  I'm looking for something very responsive.  For Mario type game I don't like auto runners, so far my top fav are Rayman and sonic 2.  Sorry for wall of text and thank you every for input.

Try kritika awsome action rpg, it's still free to play but the way game is set up if you put in time you can earn everything.  The game money ( karats) I earn amount = to $100 a week just playing.  Only down side to game is no controller support, if it had that would be even more amazing.

I tried the game, it has some good features, but it's too heavy on pay to win.  All together I think I played two weeks before walking away from game.  I played part 4 much longer.

#14 Re: Apple TV » Developers can't require gamepad » Sep 18 3:46 PM

Read your post kevin about blocking games that require gamepads, good read but I disagree, the wii and wii u did this, wii u failed because no third party support we will leave this out, but the original wii had games that used wii remote, some gamepads and some both.  The wii was a huge success, everyone that owned a wii and wanted better control got a gamepad, Nintendo didn't see any push back over this.  I think it should be up to programmer not Apple if it should require a mfi controller or not, if a programmer knows he will limit the fan base because required mfi but decided to anyway I think it should be there option.  For me I was really excited for Apple TV and games but in its current stage I won't buy one, controlling a game with that remote would be terrible.  I think they are missing a HUGE fan base with their choice.

They have actually said air version will have lightning port as well.
