For anyone interested and still playing this game, MFi does work (at least for me with a Horipad Ultimate), it's just that the button scheme is very unorthodox if you're coming from a console background like I am.

When the game detects a controller, it defaults to just one scheme. It's basically as follows:

Steer = left analog stick
Accelerate = A
Brake = don't press any button
Boost = X
Pause = B (not menu)

I noticed that Ridge Racer Slipstream is listed on the MFi-compatible list, but I can't seem to get it to work on my end. I have a Horipad Ultimate, and it works well enough with Wayward Souls, King of Fighters 97 and 98 on my iPad (iPad 4, iOS 9.0.2).

Any suggestions?

Hello!

Firstly, thank you for your time and effort in putting this page together. Ever since I picked up the Horipad Ultimate (I know it's not your favorite 😜), I've come to rely on this website to cross-check with my purchased list so I can go back and re-play games with the controller.

I was wondering, however, if there is some way for the games to show any additional notes or information besides "standard" or "extended" support. For example, I found out that while the King of Fighters 97/98 do support both types of controllers, I also found out after re-installing them that these games lean more towards the "standard" form because while KOF recognizes the left analog stick, it is extremely sensitive. I also found that unlike some other games, KOF allows button-remapping. Maybe it's a feature, maybe it's a bug, but I thought it'd be cool if there was some kind of slot or mouseOn text that would show miscellaneous details like those.

Thanks for reading!
