my new steel series nimbus has been working reliably and w/o bluetooth dropping. my mad catz ctrli micro still drops and i returned the pxn speedy for dropping as well. i'm still not certain why the nimbus works while the other two don't but have feeling it may be the bt version of the hardware itself. that's just a theory.

Received a nimbus controller and it stays connected thru gameplay. my mad catz ctrli micro still disconnects. Perhaps it's an issue with the bt version of the controller, but the new iOS should still be backward compatible with older bt devices. I know the nimbus is bt 4.x. Just a theory. Also reported issue to several tech sites last week with no takers on reporting the issue

will be trying a nimbus controller this week to see if it works. hate to give up on my pxn speedy.
Also rcvd acknowledgement from pxn speedy mnfctr via amazon review that their controller is currently not compatible with iOS 10:
"Sinus Iridum4 days ago
Sorry for the inconvenience.
The controller temporary NOT COMPATIBLE with iOS 10. It have some problem when connecting the controller, we have reflected this problem to Apple Inc., If this problem resolved we will inform you at the first time. Please wait patiently, thank you for your understanding and support."

just updated my ipad pro 9.7 with most recent ios 10 iteration and still no love. same issue as previous update. i was able to play for approx 6-7 minutes and then the pxn speedy controller lost connection and i had to hard reset it.

flintza, like the nimbus, the pxn speedy has a reset button in a hole on the back in which you can stick a paperclip to reset and re-pair the controller. still doesn't fix the overarching ios issue, but it will allow you to pair with another device or once ios is sorted.

thanks wetterthoun! kevin/moderator, any way to contact pxn speedy team for firmware update? can't find much about mctr online and your review mentioned they're an oem team who emailed you. would love to keep using their controller.

update to my marathon csr session with apple. they're pointing back to the device mfctrs' firmware. service manager did acknowledge ios device [ipad/iphone] bluetooth was updated in last ios10 update. will contact mad catz some time this week. don't readily see much for support of the pxn speedy online. i'll check original packaging this week and try to contact them as well. i hate this finger pointing bs. please let me know if anyone else hears back from apple or controller mctrs with hope for fix. cheers, rc

i contacted apple yesterday and they wanted me to backup and do a full reset/wipe on my ipad to make sure it's not a hardware problem. i tried explaining that it's likely not HW as the issue is affecting both iphone and ipad and only after ios10 update. was short of time and had to terminate session. will try again some time this week. i feel the more people who contact them re this issue the better.

Have an iPad Pro 9.7 and iPhone 6, both updated with ios10. Since the update have noticed bluetooth dropping during gameplay with both PXN Speedy and Mad Catz Mfi controllers on iPad only. Have reset network settings on iPad, repaired controllers, tried pairing only the controllers [no other bt devices] and both controllers yield same connection issue. They both seem to work on the iPhone 6. Anyone else experience similar connectivity issues?
