If you’re tired of freemium traps, keep an eye on Path of Exile 2—it’s shaping up to be the best ARPG since Diablo 2, with deep mechanics, no pay-to-win, and a massive skill system. While it doesn’t support MFi yet (devs haven’t confirmed controller plans), it’s worth the wait for PC/console.
For mobile, Titan Quest (premium) or AnimA ARPG (light IAPs) might scratch the itch—both work with controllers!
