‘Minecraft PE’ Gets MFi Controller Support Next Week!

It’s been a long wait, but it’s nearly over. Minecraft’s MFi controller support update has been submitted to Apple, and should likely be live next week, around the 8th.

I was the first to reveal details of this update’s controller support over 6 months ago. In that time, excitement has been building for this update. There’s a heck of a lot more to this update than just controller support – it seems like one of the biggest updates Minecraft PE has ever received, and brings it much closer to feature parity with the PC version.

Love it or hate it (and seriously, how could you hate it?), Minecraft is one of the biggest games in the world right now. Probably ever. This controller support update will be single-handedly responsible for MANY controller sales, especially as the holidays approach.

If you don’t already own Minecraft PE, now’s a great time to give it a download and see what you’ve been missing before the big update hits!
