Has anyone tried this game out with a MFi controller? I've enjoyed other Atypical games and am considering purchasing this one as well.

This sounds really encouraging! Especially since I use a 5s ?

Thanks for that. I was afraid they'd put in too much pay to win garbage. It's why I won't touch Blitz Brigade. I like action RPGs a lot, but it looks like I'll have to pass on this one.

I was under the impression they would remain in your available downloads regardless of whether they were removed from the store-front or not. This is troubling. I'll have to make sure I back up EVERY single app to my computer so they can't pull this on me again.

What is the one game you would most like to see ported to iOS?
It may sound a little strange, but the one game I would like to see most is a Dreamcast game called Ooga Booga.

This game just received MFi controller support. After reading this article, I don't know that I ever want to play another free-to-play game. Any thoughts on this one?

That is troubling. I was able to download it a few weeks ago (it didn't work, of course), but sure enough, I checked this morning and no longer have that option. I should always have the option of downloading it again later. I guess that means I'll have to keep a backup of ALL of my apps going forward. Not cool.
#38 Re: Apple TV » Developers can't require gamepad » Sep 16 5:32 AM
Yeah, this is going to lead to a lot of frustrated developers and gamers. Apple has repeatedly shown it has no clue what to do about games. Take the MFi controller spec, for instance. Right out the gate it is missing 3 buttons that game developers for consoles/computers take for granted. I have read of several games not being ported/updated for MFi controllers due to that simple reason. Now Apple wants to break that down even further? I don't get it.

Scanner Pro and most everything by Readdle just got updated for iOS 9.

They just had to go and ruin it with the analog sticks parallel to one another. Oh well.
Other than that, it could be a good controller from the picture. I wonder if they'll ever add rumble.

Wouldn't surprise me if we saw a new iPad Air, but it also wouldn't surprise me to see Apple try to funnel its most demanding (and highest-paying) customers up a notch to a more expensive 12-inch model 😉
Drat! No new Air model.

Airplay mirroring is still one of the main reasons to own an Apple TV. Since they are still selling the old model, I imagine they won't be taking away features anytime soon. Plus, with improved Wi-Fi, I wonder if that will help with lag any. I kinda doubt it, since the direct connection with the previous model probably had enough throughput, but you never know.

I haven't tried it myself yet, but I've read it should be possible, which would be awesome! Not only would it be great for emulators, it would get rid of the need to jailbreak for most people.

Looking forward for the new "Apple Games store" did you see the officail tweet?JohnnyDGeez wrote:
@MFiGamer I saw it, but I wonder what will make it any different from the App Store "Game" section.
I'm actually not sure what you guys are talking about. There's a new "Apple Games" Twitter account, but I don't see anything like a dedicated apple games store...
I think this is what they are talking about. People are speculating there will be a separate app store for games.

That's a nice list of predictions! I agree with most of it, except the refresh of the iPad Air. I think we will see an iPad Air 3 because that is what most people are familiar with.
