What is up with Tomb Raider for iOS?
I never played the original Tomb Raider when it first came out, but I just tried it on my phone with a controller. Is that how the camera and controls are supposed to work? It was nearly unplayable! I'm not sure what the right stick is supposed to do but it sure doesn't work like a modern camera. The left stick for movement isn't much better.
Imagine you're driving a tank. That's how it controls - it's is NOT like a modern platformer. You can get used to it, but it's counterintuitive to those who grew up on modern games like Uncharted.
I read that originally on PS1 it controlled via Dpad since there was no thumbstick. So maybe that is the way to go. What about that right-thumbstick controlling the camera? Was that not even in the original game?
im played this on pc, and yes, there was no controlling of the camera with stick. There was no such sticks at the time the game got released (include the original ps1/Saturn versions).
So camera can kidding sometimes, but its still fully playable.
Instead using sticks, you do have a look button, when you want to look around.
