I work as a journalist for an online publication, and we recently decided to launch a column on new technologies, as artificial intelligence is one of the most popular topics today. I'm interested in how artificial intelligence and other technologies can affect the field of manufacturing and logistics. The use of new technologies in manufacturing is more understandable to me, but less so in logistics. Are there any people here who work in this field and can explain new technological trends in logistics in an accessible way?

Also, every new technology that can be implemented (or is already in use) in logistics can be written about in a separate article. I work as a Supply Chain Manager. It is better to read this blog https://blog.gettransport.com/ where various technologies are well and concisely described without unnecessary boring text. For example, I was interested in articles about warehouse robotics, 5G technology, virtual reality, and machine learning in logistics.
