Updated to ipad mini 4. This game runs excellent and has some really fun levels. Control is pretty tight, overall presentation is top notch. I wish the IAP's were a little more permanent, but I will still play the hell out of this game until I get burned out. This game and Afterpulse belong on the top games list… I am loving it//

Is really recommend xenowerk as well, both game's  you mentioned are great with controllers. Have not had mine too long and been playing a lot of xenowerk, great action, looks great, sounds great and controller really enhances it!!

Dead trigger 2 requires internet connection to play. Does this game too. They both come from the same company so figured it might.

Upgrading to the iPad mini 4 has really yielded great results: the game runs smoothly and the levels are really fun. The controls are a little stiff, but overall the presentation is top notch. I wish the purchase options were more frequent, but regardless, I'll continue to play until burnout. This game along with Afterpulse are some of the best!
