Horizon Chase

Just picked up Horizon Chase after reading all the positive comments over on the TouchArcade forum. It takes me back to the good old days of playing Top Gear 2 on the SNES for hours with my friend. If you're interested in racing games and need a good MFi controller game, you can't go wrong with this one.

Yeah, it's a cool game! Very much in the "old school arcade racer" vein. Between that and AG Drive, it was a good week for MFi compatible racers!

I can't get my steelseries stratus to work on this at all... Anyone got any thoughts?

The controller is all connected and working with other games, and also recognised and selected in HC.... But no buttons do anything! 😢

I'll take a look later, it should work. Did you try enabling it in the game's settings?

Thanks.. Yup all recognised in the app (2 pop ups) which auto selects in settings. I've tried toggling it back and forth in the settings... Still nothing!

For anyone interested and still playing this game, MFi does work (at least for me with a Horipad Ultimate), it's just that the button scheme is very unorthodox if you're coming from a console background like I am.

When the game detects a controller, it defaults to just one scheme. It's basically as follows:

Steer = left analog stick
Accelerate = A
Brake = don't press any button
Boost = X
Pause = B (not menu)
