The World 3 is really good. Started playing it today and I'm impressed.

I looked on Amazon.com for reviews of how the stratus is working with iOS 10 and it isn't looking good.

Why won't your macOS start up (if you don't mind my asking)?

I am in the beta program. i believe a beta of macos sierra screwed up the mac parition. it intermittently recognizes the keyboard. when trying to reset my password to login it recognizes it then asks me to login to apple's servers but when i do it says it has a server error. this happens with both wifi and ethernet.

The main reason I bought the SteelSeries Nimbus controller was to play Super Mario 64. It worked on an older iOS and device by using an emulator called RetroArch but I can't play it with my new phone because it came with iOS 10 which hasn't been jailbroken yet.

I can't sideload to my iPhone with Xcode anymore because I can't start up macOS

I am now stuck with the option of playing Super Mario 64 on the BuildStore.io apps 'Happy Chick' and 'NewGamepad', both of which run old versions of RetroArch under the hood and as a result, certain mfi features are not yet present.

For example, when I try to do a long jump in Super Mario 64 of Happy Chick, the analog controls can't read the button press at the same time as the control stick being pushed forward.

Newgamepad is even worse because it doesn't recognize my controller at all.

Mannnnn....

people who have jailbroken their device are getting hacked because they forgot to change the default root password of their phone after jailbreaking. there's a list of commands you put in your phone in a terminal tweak that will secure your phone. even i have forgotten to do so occasionally.

the problem is that you have to reinstall it every 7 days. smfh.

theres a program called ios app signer for xcode by dantheman827 that lets you do it unlimited though.

I've done this by following a tutorial by zero2029 from RetroArch's iOS subforum. Back then, my macbook was working but crashed on the new beta. Now I can only use Window 10 on my macbook cause it made filevault lock my macOS partition. smfh ok that was TMI sorry.

anyway retroArch worked great. i could play super mario 64 perfectly.

funny thing about retroarch is that updates would sometimes break the game or your settings. cause of me deleting it due to that issue and forgetting to rollback then losing macosx and xcode due to filevault i can no longer play super mario 64 at its very best.

I read just now its only compatible up to 9.3.2.
Does it play at all on iOS 10?

so my steelseries nimbus or any other MFI gamepad won't work with both the free and paid version of this game? That's messed up.

There are plenty of games that use the apple pencil such as the Infinity Blade series, Warhammer 40,000, INKS, One More Jump, Quizup... and even emulation like iNDS. I played Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword once. I find it easier to play some of these games with the pencil, espcially Infinity Blade. Are there anymore games that you have played that allow you to use the Apple Pencil?

Have any of you bought Jade Empire and if so, what is your character loadout?

I bought Jade Empire and took the longest time trying to figure out what was the best character load out configuration. I played the original on an Xbox 360 and got maybe 1/3rds through the game before I got addicted to Halo 3.

The first time I played as Lu the Prodigy and played as a mostly good, light path character but I did have an issue with one of the stats. Trying to remember which character trait I needed the most. The ability to use weapons more or maintain focus or something like that.

The controls for the iOS MFI gamepad are okay but omg the camera is horrible. It's gonna take awhile getting used to. I wonder if I had this much issue with the camera on xbox.

Also, the cutscenes are blurry. Very low compression from xbox era.

I would love to see Zone of the Enders 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shadow of the Colossus, Ninja Gaiden and Halo: Combat Evolved.

I don't have my hopes up for any of them coming out though.

My SteelSeries Nimbus gamepad is so big its constantly falling out of my pocket. Are there MFI gamepads that fit comfortably in a pocket and/or small enough to fit on a keychain?
